purposes. Using GPS navigation system one does not require to divert the attention from the road and getting confused over the intricacies of the map. All these are effectively done by the GPS system.

High Technology is Taking the World by Storm

Every day more and more high tech gadgets flood the marketplace. Commercials tell us how we absolutely can’t live without their latest product. As technology advances we are faced with a variety of products most of which we don’t need and can’t afford. There are however a few items that warrant a closer look. Other than my cellular phone, the one piece of technology I can’t live without is my gps.

In the past, I have wasted countless hours driving around lost, fumbling with fold-out maps the size of my car. Pulling off the road every half an hour to try and figure out where I went wrong or trying to find my location on the map had me so flustered that I almost completely gave up driving anywhere unless I knew exactly how to get there myself. As an anniversary present, my patient, understanding husband knew exactly the right gift for me and had the navigation system put into my car.

What a difference it has made in my life. No more anxiety attacks or leaving the house an hour ahead of schedule to make sure I had time to get lost and find my way again. Now I have the confidence to hop on the road at a moments notice for any car trip. My favorite part of the model my husband chose is the voice feature. I don’t even have to look away from the road to hear where I need to turn. Now that I’m a mom, I feel so much safer knowing that I will never again have to pull to the side of the road or risk an accident by taking attention away from driving to find my way.
